The college football season is quickly approaching! We continue BTD’s countdown list with number 23.
#23: Nathan Eldridge- Center
With the graduation of 2 year starter Sumner Houston many wondered who on the roster would replace him. Well it turned out that his replacement was on another Pac-12 roster at that point. The former Arizona Wildcat starter missed the 2018 campaign due to injury and was subsequently passed on the depth chart. Following the season he decided it would be best for him to transfer to another school and it just so happened that his former line coach was in the market for a center. Eldridge was not able to partake in spring ball due as he finished up his degree requirements at Arizona, but many expect him to take the starting job in short order during camp.
Eldridge will be in an odd position as both the new guy and also the guy most experienced with coach Michalczik. As long as he can stay healthy he should be a solid piece of a revamped line that returns only two starters (Brandel and Lavaka) from a year ago.
Projected Statistics:
Uhh? Do linemen get stats? Screw it, I am saying he gets 1 touchdown.
