Oregon State has landed another commit for the 2020 recruiting class bringing their total number of commits up to ten. Samuel Peacock announced his decision on Twitter Monday evening, shortly after Jonathan Smith foreshadowed the new commitment.

Samuel Peacock is a 6-foot-6, 265-pound offensive lineman from Gig Harbor, Washington. Peacock held offers from Georgetown, Idaho, Columbia and others, but decided to shut his recruitment down and commit to Oregon State University.

Jim Michalczik was Samuel’s primary recruiter and the Beavers running game has made great strides under Michalczik’s leadership. Samuel Peacock is somewhat of an unheralded recruit and could benefit from a year in the weight room, but he has the frame to be a special offensive lineman.
