Pac-12 Media Day is here! The one-day event held in Hollywood, California is a time for pre-season expectations with some mild news sprinkled in here and there. To start off the day, the media released their preseason media poll and Utah barely edged out Washington and Oregon for the honor of “preseason conference title favorites”.

The closeness at the top speaks to the parity of the conference. While that should make for an entertaining conference season it probably means the Pac-12 will be left out of the college football playoffs again.
The media also released the preseason All-Americans for the Pac-12. Isaiah Hodgins, Jermar Jefferson and Gus Lavaka all earned second team honors.

The biggest news of the day (so far) came in the form of the Championship game announcement. The Pac-12 Championship game is headed to Las Vegas starting in 2020 and 2021. It will be played at the new Raiders Stadium.
