Tyler Malone played right field for Oregon State as a junior. He struggled at times during his junior season, but started rounding into form near the end of the season. That was highlighted by his huge home run against Cincinnati in the postseason.

Tyler Malone is just a junior and now has the option to sign with the Padres or return to Oregon State for his senior season. Malone experienced his best hitting season as a sophomore when he mostly DH’ed for the Beavs and batted .278 with 8 HRs. Malone is a very talented player and we wish him the best with whatever route he decision he chooses next.
