The recruiting streak continues for Jonathan Smith with the addition of 3 star outside linebacker Shane Kady
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Kady, out of Hawaii chose Oregon State over offers from Arizona, Army, BYU, Hawaii and Utah State. Kady, who many projected as a defensive end, will play outside linebacker in Tim Tibesar’s 3-4 system. One of OSU’s biggest weaknesses the past few seasons has been the lack of a pass rush, Oregon State coaches hope that Kady as well as several other additions will help change that.
Kady is the third linebacker of the 2020 campaign joining John Miller and Junior Walling. Oregon State has also recently added JUCO defensive end Tavis Shippen as well as offensive stars Ben Gulbranson (Quarterback) , Cooper Darling (Offensive Line) and Zeriah Beason (Wide Receiver).
