The hot streak continues for Jonathan Smith and his staff. Recent additions Ben Gulbranson (QB) and Zariah Beason (WR) were joined today by offensive guard Cooper Darling.
The 6’5”, 300-lb Darling committed to Oregon State over offers from Arizona State, San Diego State and others. The Gilbert, Arizona native recently called Oregon State his “dream offer” so no one was too surprised when he made it official tonight. Darling marks the first offensive line commit of the 2020 class and fourth overall commit, joining the aforementioned Gulbranson and Beason as well as Tualatin linebacker John Miller. Look for Oregon State to add a few other linemen this recruiting season, as 2019 will mark the final season for Gus Lavaka, Blake Brandel and Nathan Eldridge.
