Oregon State took on Colorado in the Pac-12 tournament yesterday afternoon and stumbled out of the gates. The Beavers were 0-9 from three-point range in the first half and shot an abysmal 28% from the field. They also did not defend with the intensity that was needed to make up for a slow start offensively. Oregon State quickly fell behind by 21 and despite a furious second-half comeback that saw them close the gap to 6 on a couple of occasions, it ultimately wasn’t enough. The four remaining teams in the Pac-12 Tournament (Colorado, Washington, Arizona State and Oregon) will battle it out for the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

- John Canzano’s new column explores weather or not the Beavers should accept an invite to the CBI, if they miss out on the NIT. Spoiler alert, he is not fond of the CBI.
