Ethan Thompson and Kylor Kelley each scored 23 points a piece as the Beavers edged UT-San Antonio on Wednesday in Houston, 88-78. With the victory, Oregon State has now won seven straight games since their loss to Oklahoma.

Thompson and Kelley were as efficient as you can expect any duo to be, combining for a 15-19 performance from the field, while also tallying 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Kelley, as always, chipped in with three blocks of his own as well.

Usual leading scorer Tres Tinkle deferred to his teammates more against the Roadrunners, taking only seven shots and finishing 11 points in severely limited minutes due to foul trouble. Reserve guard Sean Miller-Moore also found double-figures in scoring off the bench, ending his night with 10 points, while starter Zach Reichle added 8 points and Alfred Hollins boasted just 3 points.

For the Roadrunners, the prolific guard duo of Jhivvan Jackson and Keaton Wallace were ruthless once again, combining for 49 of their team’s 78 points.
