Best Week 12 College Football Bets

The Beavers are 3-point underdogs to Arizona State

NCAA Football: Georgia at Florida Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

A 2-3 week is in the rear-view mirror. Setting up my overall record for the season to (32-21-2) overall record. The Beavers return to action after a hard-fought game against Washington featuring very little offense. Hopefully there’s more fireworks this Saturday for the Beavers last home game of the 2019 season.

#1 - Oregon State (+3) vs. Arizona State

Arizona State welcomes back a healthy starting quarterback in Jayden Daniels. The betting line initially opened as a ‘pick-em game’ before the QB news and has been shifting towards the Sun Devils. I think ASU is a very good team and it’ll be tough on Saturday; but Oregon State is desperate for a home Pac-12 win and this is their last shot of the 2019 season.

#2 - Texas (+7) vs. Iowa State

I was pretty surprised to see Texas as touchdown underdogs to Iowa State. Not because Iowa State isn’t a great football team, but because often Texas fans will blindly put money on the Longhorns skewing the betting line. Overall, I like Texas here. I think they get back on track and have a good showing against the Cyclones.

#3 - Georgia (-2.5) vs. Auburn

The much-maligned #4 team in the College Football Playoffs rankings the Georgia Bulldogs. And not because they are a bad football team, but because their home loss to South Carolina was quite the head-scratcher. Oregon fans (loudly) argued their loss to Auburn and overall resume is better than Georgia’s. I think the Bulldogs will hear that noise and come out motivated to win soundly against Auburn.

#4 - Boise State (-27.5) vs. New Mexico

This is a HUGE betting line. Boise State has to win by four touchdowns just to cover it. No disrespect to New Mexico (okay maybe a little disrespect); I think the Broncos cover this spread when they play.

#5 - UCLA (+21) vs. Utah

This may be a dumb move on my part. Utah is very good and UCLA is not that good. But I saw this quote from a UCLA WR Ethan Fernea “Utahs’ known for being tough but I think we are ready to go out and show we are the tougher team”.

Gotta respect the bold move there! Realistically Utah is going to smash UCLA, but for some reason I think the Bruins are going to play the Utes close. Stay tuned.

I checked these odds on FanDuel Sports Book Wednesday morning. The college football season is quickly coming to a close which is shocking! In the less exciting news for Beaver fans a former OSU commit flipped to Washington.
