An average week 6, brings the picks for the season to a (18-10-2) overall record. The Beavers return to action this weekend against Utah and it should be a good one as they continue to build confidence. In personal news, I started a new job in Portland and things will probably be crazy the next few weeks. Once I get unpacked and everything we’ll be sure to drop another BTD Podcast; anyways onto the picks!

#1 - Colorado State (-3.5) vs. New Mexico
This Friday night game features two very bad teams. Colorado State is 105th in SP+ while New Mexico is 119th. There’s only 130 teams in FBS... Why bet on this game? Well I think CSU is significantly less bad than NMU.
#2 - Oregon State (+13.5) vs. Utah
Your Oregon State Beavers are coming off a huge win and are 4-1 against the spread (ATS). And they are ranked as the 53rd best team in the nation. They get a tough-nosed Utah team in Reser Stadium this Saturday. The game will probably low-scoring and I won’t be as bold to predict an OSU victory I do think they can keep it a close game.
#3 - Washington (-6.5) vs. Arizona
Despite losing to Stanford and Cal before that, I still think Washington is a good team. They really haven’t shown up against PAC-12 opponents, but the Huskies are due for a good game. Arizona has enjoyed a nice run of victories since their loss at Hawaii, but now their schedule ramps up. Look for Washington to roll in this game.
#4 - Arizona State (+1) vs. Washington State
Arizona State is a pretty solid football team. Washington State on the other hand? They started off strong, but things have gone downhill in a hurry. There defensive coordinator just quit (or was forced out) and nobody seems happy. I think the Sun Devils will capitalize on the Cougars confusion.
#5 - Alabama (+16.5) vs. Texas A&M
My last pick is banking on Texas A&M being overrated. Alabama is very good and their offense is borderline unstoppable, but on the flip side 16.5 points is a HUGE spread. Texas A&M is not some doormat of college football. Despite all of that I think this game is a big blowout. Roll Tide!
I checked these odds on FanDuel and ESPN today. There seems to be more weekday college football games than normal. And as always go beavs!
