The men’s basketball squad won their second and last exhibition of the 2019-2020 season on Tuesday night, when they knocked off Warner Pacific, an NAIA school from Portland, 96-45.
In the contest, the Beavers were paced by their old reliable star in Tres Tinkle (19 points), as well as a trio of newcomers in Jarod Lucas (13 points), Gianni Hunt (12 points) and Sean Miller-Moore (9 points). Wingman Alfred Hollins (12 points) also reached double-figures in scoring.
The Beavers’ regular season will officially begin on Tuesday, November 5th, when they host the Cal State Northridge Matadors at 8 PM PT. The game will televised via the Pac-12 Network.
From there, Oregon State will continue their non-conference slate with meetings against Iowa State, Oklahoma, Wyoming, UC-Santa Barbara, Grambling State, San Jose State, Portland State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, UT-San Antonio, Texas A&M and North Dakota.
