5 College Football Games You Should Watch During Oregon State’s Bye Week

Don’t let a lack of an OSU game distract you from the rest of this weekend’s CFB slate.

The Oregon State Beavers do not play a football game this week. So what’s a Beavs fan to do? Check out the new plumbing options at Home Depot? Read a book? Call your ex and see if they’re positive they won’t take you back?

No sir or madam, you get back on that couch and watch more football because we’re basically halfway through the season and in a few weeks you’ll be complaining about how short football season is again.

Here are five games you should watch this week to distract you from your life.

#3 Ohio State Buckeyes vs #13 Wisconsin Badgers - 9 AM PT - FOX

Ohio State’s playoff hopes are alive and well, but they’re not out of the woods yet. Wisconsin will provide their toughest test of the season and the Badgers have to be upset about having their own playoff hopes (basically) dashed last week at the hands of Illinois. Then again, I’m told honey badgers don’t care...This has the potential to be one of the crazier games of the weekend.

#2 LSU Tigers vs #9 Auburn Tigers - 12:30 PM PT - CBS

The only game of the weekend that includes not one, but two top ten teams. Joe Burrow is a very strong contender for this year’s Heisman and I recommend catching one of his games if you haven’t already. Plus, this is one of the only ways you can watch two groups of Tigers face off against each other without having to answer questions from law enforcement.

Stanford Cardinal vs Arizona Wildcats - 12:30 PM PT - Pac-12 Network

The Beavs’ next game will be against Arizona. Tune into this one and see what kind of state the Wildcats are in before they host the Beavs.

#19 Michigan Wolverines vs #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish - 4:30 PM PT - ABC

For the uninitiated, these two teams REALLY don’t like each other. The Irish still have playoff hopes and can’t afford a slip up. Meanwhile, the Wolverines have had an up-and-down year with some calling into question whether or not Jim Harbaugh will be back. This one could help provide that energy.

#11 Oregon Ducks vs Washington State Cougars - 7:30 PM PT - ESPN

The Ducks are two touchdown favorites, but you can never really count out a Mike Leach team. We have to include this one because it’s probably the best game in the Pac-12 of the weekend and it’s on the “worldwide leader”. Hopefully they put on a good show for the conference.
