On Thursday night Oregon State added a new commitment for the 2020 recruiting class. Ronald Hardge III officially committed to Oregon State football. He announced his verbal commitment on Twitter.

Hardge III was part of a group of visitors for this weekends home game against Utah and despite the lopsided blowout, Ronald Hardge liked what he saw in Corvallis in order to make a commitment. Hardge is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back from the City College of San Francisco.
He originally committed to Illinois out of high school before going the junior college route and eventually making his way to the Pac-12. Hardge will have two years of eligibility remaining (three years if he takes a redshirt year).
The Beavers secondary is dangerously thin and has been ravaged by injuries and transfers. Adding Hardge and a host of talent going forward will be huge for the Oregon State defense that is improving, but still needs to make significant strides to be where they want to be.
