Oregon State’s 2020 recruiting class continues to take shape. Last night, 6’6” Power Forward Isaiah Johnson announced his decision to commit to play for the Beavers next season.

Johnson plays for Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, California. 247sports currently has Johnson graded as a 3 star player, the 46th best player in California, and the 72nd best Power Forward in the country. Johnson was also offered by Pepperdine, Rutgers, UC Irvine and UTEP.

Johnson is the Beavers first commit of the 2020 class. They currently also have offers out to Shooting Guard Richie Saunders of Utah, Small Forward Marcon Beauchamp of Arizona, and Center Bradley Ezewiro of Virginia.

We’re only a couple weeks away from the start of the Beavers 2019-20 season, which tips off on 11/5 against Cal State Northridge. We’ll be doing regular previews of the season, so check back with Building the Dam for more basketball coverage.
