After his official visit to Oregon State this past weekend, Silas Bolden has verbally committed to play football for Oregon State University.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound wide receiver is the younger brother of former Oregon State great Victor Bolden. He grew up rooting for the Beavers thanks to his family ties and is ready to make his mark on the program. Silas Bolden also holds offers from Hawaii, Utah State, San Jose State and others.
Jonathan Smith and company are hard at work on the recruiting trail despite it being in-season. They head to UCLA this week, but have another bye week towards the end of October. Look for recruitment and commitments to pick up later in the month.
Bolden’s commitment brings the Beavers 2020 recruiting class up to 13 commitments. It’s nice to move on from the Devon Williams recruitment saga and get a win here. Look for Oregon State to continue to add to their 2020 recruiting class, while they also look ahead to 2021.
