The Oregon State Beavers lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes 77-31 over the weekend. Considering the circumstances, this result generated some mixed feelings in Beaver fans. While a loss by 46 points is obviously not what we were all hoping for, there were definitely a few positive takeaways from Oregon State’s performance.
Artavis Pierce had two long touchdown runs. Trevon Bradford caught two touchdown passes. The defense had an 80-yard interception return.
That being said, injuries to players like Jake Luton are bound to make people nervous about the depth of the team moving forward. So you tell us...did you see enough positive things to make you think Oregon State are better than we thought they might be?...did giving up 77 points to Ohio State (the second most points the Buckeyes have ever scored in a season opener) make you rethink any optimism that you had about this team?...or is this all just about what you thought would happen?
