Despite a great final game, the former Beaver will have to find a new team.

Despite an impressive effort in his final preseason game, Ryan Nall has been cut by the Chicago Bears. The former Oregon State back managed 79 rushing yards on 4 attempts, including a 32 yard touchdown run.

That was his only TD of the preseason, but Nall finished with 223 total yards, and a 7.0 average. The highlight of his preseason may have been this explosive 69 yard run against the Bengals.

It’s been a tough weekend for former Beavers. Defensive Back Treston Decoud was cut by the Houston Texans, Defensive Back Kyle Peko was cut by the Broncos, and Offensive Linemen Sean Harlow and Fred Lauina were cut by the Falcons and Browns, respectively.

Some of these players will make their way onto rosters or practice squads after things settle down. Check back with Building the Dam to keep yourself updated on how Beavers are doing in the NFL.
