#1 - A.C. Green (1981-1985)
The Case For Green: The 1983-1984 Pac-10 Player of the Year, A.C. Green’s four seasons in Corvallis were a sight to behold, as the 6’ 9” forward tallied 1,694 points, snagged 880 rebounds and shot a mind-numbing 60.2% from the field in 115 career games for Oregon State. While Green would go on to be more known for his lengthy NBA stay, where he competed in a 1,192 consecutive games, he’s also renowed for being arguably the most consistent and reliable player that the Beavers program has ever produced at the next level.
#8 - David Lucas (2001-2005)
The Case For Lucas: After struggling through his first two campaigns in Corvallis, forward David Lucas bounced back with epic junior and season seasons that sent him into Oregon State folklore for good. Averaging a stunning 17.9 and 7.0 rebounds per game over the length of his upperclassmen years, Lucas’ hard-nosed style with a finesse flair mixed in, earned his way into the hearts of all of Beaver Nation who appreciated his style. David is also the son of beloved Portland Trail Blazers icon, Maurice Lucas.
