The Spurs made it interesting, but didn’t get the job done on Thursday night.

As the 2018 Las Vegas NBA Summer League winds down, Drew Eubanks’ potential spot with the San Antonio Spurs is still very much in question.

While we recently weighed his chances recently by reaching out to Pounding The Rock, SB Nation’s San Antonio Spurs community, it was the 6’ 10” forward who added another inauspicious outing to his resume on Thursday evening in a 85-73 overtime defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Eubanks finished the contest with just 4 points (2-2 FT) in 10 minutes of court time.

The interesting part about Eubanks role with the team this summer, is that now that former USC star Chimezie Metu has been sidelined for the rest of the Summer League due to injury, Eubanks may find a few more minutes for himself in the short-term. Also, the fact that San Antonio has already lost in the consolation games and has seen what they need to out of likely roster pieces like Derrick White could change their depth chart dynamic.
