Oregon State’s 17 year streak with an NFL Draft Pick Ends

A disappointing draft weekend comes to a close.

The 2018 NFL Draft has come to a close. Over the three-day, 7 round draft zero Oregon State football players heard their name called. Ryan Nall was given the highest grade of draft eligible players from Corvallis and while Nall and many other players are likely to sign with NFL teams as undrafted free agents; this weekend snapped Oregon State’s 17 year streak of having at least one former Beav drafted into the NFL.

The Beavers football program has been struggling the last couple of seasons and culminated when Gary Andersen left the program in the middle of last season. Fans are hoping new head coach Jonathan Smith and the return of Mike Riley can help Oregon State get back to their winning ways and sending players to the NFL draft.
