Utah scored first with an RBI single from Richardson in the bottom of the second. A sac bunt from Cadyn Grenier that scored Zak Taylor evened things up in T3, but Utah’s Debenedictis got an RBI single through the left side to put them back up a run.
Michael Gretler hit a sac fly to score Jack Anderson in the fourth before the Utes rattled off three in B4. The night looked like it was going in a bad direction for the Beavs...until the seventh inning.
A single from Adley Rutschman brought in two runs to make it a one-run game.

Tyler Malone, in the DH spot tonight, blasted a double to right field giving three runners enough time to score. Gretler hit his second RBI sac fly of the day soon after.
Andy Armstrong tacked on a solo homer in the eighth. It would be the first of his career. That would end the scoring for the night as Utah would not get a comeback of their own going.
Touch 'em all Andy Armstrong!

With the win, Oregon State improves to 21-3 on the year. Utah’s loss in this one is their 20th of the year to go along with their five wins.
