Best Tweets From Oregon State Football’s Loss To USC

What was Beavs Twitter up to during Saturday’s game?

Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State Beavers couldn’t get it done against the USC Trojans this weekend, but looked much better than they have against most of their competition this season. Plus, with players’ families and recruits in town and the national champion baseball team being honored during the game, there was plenty to be excited about at Reser Stadium. As usual Beavs Twitter had some good stuff related to all of it.

Here are a few of our favorite Tweets from Saturday:

First, Artavis Pierce and his mom met up during Beaver Walk.

His backfield counterpart Jermar Jefferson was ready to go (though he didn’t really show it in the first half).

We cracked the code on how to get the team to play their best...

A Los Angeles sports writer took note of another strong Jermar Jefferson day...

The chainsaw made another appearance!...

The vibe was good for some recruits, like this 4.5-star punter from Clackamas...

OSU’s video team was capturing great stuff, yet again...

...and OSU fans said another goodbye to a national championship coach.
