Conor Blount has exited today’s game against Cal and will not return, after a big head to head hit with Jaylinn Hawkins placed him into concussion protocol. The hit was ruled targeting and Hawkins has been ejected from the game.
Blount and the Beavers offense have not gotten anything going against Cal, with Blount 6 for 13, for 42 yards, and one interception. The Beavers are now down 28-0 after California scored a quick touchdown to open the second half.
