Oregon State Football: Injury Report (Week 7)

The Beavers take on Cal in Reser this Saturday.

The Beavers bye week came at a favorable time, smack dab in the middle of the season. The football team utilized the off week to get some much needed rest and will face Cal with perhaps their healthiest roster of the season. Despite the extra week there is still a couple injuries to key players who will not play. Take a look at who’s in and out for this weekend’s game.

OUT

  • David Morris - Foot (1-2 weeks)
  • Omar Hicks-Onu - Undisclosed injury (unknown)
  • Calvin Tyler Jr. - Knee (Out for season)
  • Jay Irvine - Shoulder (Out for season)

David Morris will almost assuredly be using a redshirt year this season. I’d expect him to return during the last couple of games for the Beavers. Omar Hicks-Onu is also still out and has not been practicing.

QUESTIONABLE

  • Jake Luton - Ankle (Probable)
  • Isaiah Hodgins - Hamstring (Probable)
  • Jeromy Reichner - Foot (Probable)

I’m hopeful that all three of these guys will be cleared to play on Saturday. I’m most confident that Reichner will play. I am worried that Isaiah Hodgins’ hamstring will not be 100% and he will not suit up tomorrow afternoon.

IN

  • Artavis Pierce - Elbow
  • Isaiah Dunn - Leg
  • Conor Blount - Shoulder

Isaiah Dunn has not played since re-aggravating his injury against Nevada. He’s been active in practice this past week and will take the field tomorrow against Cal. Artavis Pierce and Conor Blount also should both be 100% after the two week break.
