ESPN recently announced that Jake Thompson will start tonight, instead of usual Friday starter Luke Heimlich.

Jake Thompson started last Friday against Holy Cross and will be working on a normal rest tonight. Jake was sensational last week after he settled in. He ended the game with this stat line: 7.2 innings pitched, 4 hits, 1 earned run, with 10 strikeouts and just 3 walks.
The Beavers host Vanderbilt this evening in Corvallis as their Super Regional gets underway.
