VOTE: Who are you rooting for Clemson or Vanderbilt?

The Beavers find out their Super Regional foe this afternoon.

The Beavers will find out their Super Regional foe this afternoon, when Clemson and Vanderbilt face-off in a winner-take-all championship game. The game originally was scheduled for 4:00 PM ET, but due to inclement weather has been rescheduled for 8:30 PM ET (5:30 PM PT). The game will be available on ESPN3 here, but could be picked up by ESPNU after the Arkansas/Missouri State game.

GAME-TIME UPDATE:

Clemson earned the No. 1 seed in the Clemson regional. They sit at 42-20 and are deep and talented. They lost to Vanderbilt 9-4 on Saturday, but bounced back with a 6-0 victory Sunday night.

Vanderbilt earned the No. 2 seed and holds a 35-23 record. While Clemson is considered to be the more talented team, Vanderbilt features two legitimate “aces” in Patrick Raby and Kyle Wright.

Building the Dam will preview the Super Regional later this week, but personally I’ll be rooting for Clemson this afternoon. The Beavers have shown they can handle hot-hitting teams, but Vanderbilt’s top-2 pitchers could cause problems for Oregon State’s bats next weekend, if they can get past Clemson.
