College basketball season may have just passed us by, but there’s never a bad time to learn more about what the future of Oregon State basketball may hold, specifically pertaining to the Beavers’ highly-touted 2017 recruiting class. You may already now the names of Ethan Thompson, Alfred Hollins, Zach Reichle and UMASS grad transfer, Seth Berger, but you’ve probably never seen an in-depth video break-down like this from the future coach of all these talented stars. Coach Rupp does an impressive job of picking out what he likes about each incoming Beaver and gives us a nice glimpse into the serious potential of the not-so-distant future.

About Coach Rupp
Coach Rupp has been the associate head coach under Wayne Tinkle at Oregon State for the past three seasons, after previously serving on Tinkle’s staff at Montana. Before his time with the Grizzlies, Rupp served as an assistant at a multitude of schools, including Indiana, Hawai’i, UAB and Utah. From 2007-2001, Rupp was the head coach at Louisiana Tech, guiding the program to a 66-77 mark under his guidance. He also previously served as an interim head coach at Utah during the 2003-2004 campaign, compiling a 10-4 overall mark and leading the Utes to a Mountain West Conference Tournament Championship. On the staff at Oregon State, Rupp is largely responsible for recruiting and team defense.
