National Signing Day is coming to a close and most recruits have sent in their National Letters of Intent. The Beavers had a very good day and things mostly went off without a hitch. Which was a good sign for Oregon State. Check out our complete Signing Day coverage here and a breakdown of each signee here.
Oregon State had 20 different recruits sign today (plus a preferred walk-on), which brought their 2017 class up to 25 total recruits.
Here’s how the Beavers 2017 class fared on the three major recruiting site:
- Rivals - 42nd
- Scout.com - 43rd
- 247 Sports - 49th
These rankings do not include talented WR Dionte Sykes who didn’t end up signing today, but is still expected to sign with the Beavers in May.
Here’s how the Beavers stacked up against the rest of the Pac-12:
- Rivals - 9th
- Scout - 9th
- 247 Sports - 11th
We’ll continue to breakdown what this class means for Oregon State, but all-in-all it was a very solid recruiting class and proves that this football team is trending in the right direction. It’s the Beavers highest ranked class since 2013 and the staff recruited players at positions of need.
