The Oregon State Women’s Basketball team makes their way back to Gill Coliseum after a four game road trip (and a much needed week off) that spanned five time zones. They welcome the San Jose State Spartans, their third straight Mountain West foe, for a 2 PM PST tip off on Sunday, December 10th. You can stream the game on the Oregon State Live Stream or listen on the Oregon State Beaver Sports Network. Let’s take a closer look at the Spartans.

San Jose State (2-6)

San Jose State comes into Sunday’s contest having lost five of their last six games. They are led by guard Taylor Turney, who is averaging 14.3 points per game and over four assists a game. Their leading rebounder is a 5’10’’ guard, Myzhanique Ladd, who’s averaging over eight rebounds a contest to go along with her 11.1 points per game.

Like a lot of the Beavers’ opponents thus far, the Spartans lack height as they just have 2 players listed over six-foot. They may score 74 points per game, but defensively they are giving up 86 points per contest (including 129 against UCLA, yikes!).

Look for the Beavers to blowout another Mountain West team. The Spartans will be undersized and outmatched against a very well rested home team.
