The Women’s Basketball team completed it’s one and only exhibition game on Sunday against Concordia University (Div. II), beating the Cavaliers 90-47. Forward Marie Gulich led the Beavers with 21 points, but it was Mikayla Pivec who really shined with a superb all-around game and unique double-double. Pivec’s final stats were 12 assists, 11 rebounds, seven points, five steals, and one block. Other Beavers to score in double figures were Kat Tudor (19), Taylor Kalmer (16), Taya Corosdale (10), and Joanna Grymek (10).
Has Oregon State found their solution to the point guard void left by Sydney Wiese? We’ll find out once the Beavers officially kick off the season this Friday against North Dakota at Gill Colesium. Tip off is at 2 pm.
It was good to be back in front of #BeaverNation!
