Oregon State (2-1) hits the road for their first away game of the year. This week they’re in Durham, North Carolina, to take on North Carolina Central and Duke. The Beavers take on the Eagles Wednesday at 11 AM PST. You can listen on the OSU Beavers Sports Network or watch streaming through the NCCU Sports Network.

North Carolina Central (1-1)

The Eagles are led by a couple of juniors in Rodneysha Martin and Jayla Calhoun who are scoring 17 and 16.5 points per game respectively. Their head coach, Trisha Stafford-Odum, is in her first year in a head coaching role. NCCU opened the season with a 17 point win over Longwood, but then fell to Wofford yesterday, 77-56. Oregon State will have a significant height advantage as the Eagles have just two players listed taller than 6’1’’.

Prediction

This is a good tune-up game for the Beavers to have on the first half of their East Coast trip. Everyone on the roster should see some playing time and end up feeling confident into their match-up with Duke. Beavers win big.
