Sunday Poll Recap: Beaver Nation Selects Beau Baldwin In A Contested Election

We had to get Robert Mueller to stop what he was doing and investigate some improprieties in the vote

It wouldn’t be an election in November without some accusations of voter fraud and foreign meddling. This vote was no different. While Beau Baldwin maintained a pretty consistent lead at around 40-45% much of the way, a rouge agent, possibly from Canada due to Jones’ CFL ties, appeared to hack our election process and fraudulently stuff the ballot with over 400 votes for June Jones. Prior to the hacking, Jones had received less than 5 votes and was polling between 1-2%.

After conferring with special prosecutor Robert Mueller, we have decided to remove Mr. Jones from the ballot and award the victory to Beau Baldwin, who claimed 40% of the vote after the illegal votes were removed. Sorry June, but you are #NotOurCoach.

Baldwin who helped build a winner in Eastern Washington is highly regarded for getting more out of less and finding often overlooked players. Following a 9 year stint in Cheney that saw the Eagles make the playoffs 6 times and win a national title in 2010, Baldwin joined Justin Wilcox's Cal staff as the offensive coordinator.

We will have a longer look at the potential of Beau Baldwin as OSU’s next head coach in the coming days
