Trajon Cotton has committed to Oregon State over Colorado. The 6-foot, 185-pound safety also had offers from Oregon, Cal, Washington State, Nebraska, UCLA and a host of other schools. The Inderkum high school product from Sacramento played alongside fellow Oregon State commit, Isaiah Hodgins on the 7-on-7 TMP squad.

Trajon Cotton is physical, instinctive, fast and reads the quarterback well. He runs a 4.78 40 time, according to ESPN. He also runs the 100 meter, 4x100 and 4x200 relays, does the high jump and other outdoor track activities. He is very athletic and could fight for playing time sooner rather than later.
Cotton’s commitment brings Oregon State’s 2017 class up to 23 recruits. National Signing Day is just a few days away (Wednesday) and the Beavers will look to add one or two commitments while also officially signing their verbal commits. Building the Dam will keep you informed on National Signing Day and also breakdown the Beavers 2017 class.
