Tyler Asemota Commits to Oregon State

Oregon State adds a talented playmaker

Oregon Live

Tyler Asemota announced on his twitter account on Sunday, he is committing to the Oregon State Beavers.

Tyler Asemota is a Senior Wide Receiver from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High School. Asemota is listed at 6’4, weighs 195 lbs, and runs a 4.4 forty yard dash.

Asemota has great size and speed. He is a physical receiver who is not afraid of contact. He also has playmaking potential. He missed most of his Junior season with a season ending finger injury. Many close to the Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) program commend Asemota on his work ethic and toughness.

Tyler Asemota is the 14th commit for Coach Gary Andersen’s 2017 recruiting class. It is a positive sign for the Oregon State Program to have received that many commits this early before Signing Day in February. It is evident that recruits are liking the direction Coach Andersen and his staff are going.

Asemota also held offers from Fresno State, BYU, Hawaii, Montana and Wyoming. He is rated as a two star prospect, yet according to Eric Sondheimer of the LA Times, Asemota is much more impressive than his two star ranking indicates. Check out the article here.
