Oregon State Women’s Volleyball Update

How are the Beavers following up their Sweet 16 season?

NCAA Volleyball: Women's Volleyball Championship-BYU vs Texas Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State women’s volleyball season is underway. They played 2 different matches on Saturday. First, the Lady Beavs swept Northern Colorado 3 sets to none. And then they played host to Pacific and lost a hard-fought match in 5 sets. On Friday, they lost to South Dakota 3 sets to 1.

After the weekend’s tournament called the “Pacific Community Classic”, the Beavers overall record is 4-5 on the season.

Up next on the schedule is the “Idaho Volleyball Classic”. The Beavers will face Tennessee Tech on Thursday (9/15) and then on Friday (9/16) they square off against Wyoming and host school Idaho.

After that it’s the Civil War Match in Eugene that will kickoff conference play.

Oregon Stated reached the Sweet 16 last season but thus far has struggled and has been very inconsistent. Hopefully, they can get back on track before the trek to Eugene.
