The Oregon State basketball team released their official non-conference schedule today. Take a look:

Oregon State’s Non-Conference Schedule doesn’t appear to be too imposing and is lacking some of the flair from last season.

The non-conference schedule includes a return trip to Nevada. While They will finishing a home-and-home at Mississippi State.

Also, Oregon State will participate in the “Dam City Classic”, formerly known as the “Far West Classic”. They host Long Beach St and Portland in the Moda Center.

Another intriguing match-up is Fresno State. The Bulldogs only lost by 5 to Oregon on the road last season. They finished the season with a record of 25-10, good for 2nd in the Mountain West.

The Beavers will also need to look out for Nevada. Last year Oregon state squeaked out a 4 point victory at Gill Coliseum. While Nevada may have lost 5 players from last years team, it will not be easy to win on the road, at Lawlor Events Center.

Tulsa will also be another tough road game. They have a upperclassmen led team and will be looking to revenge last years, 76-71 loss in the Far West Classic.

Oregon State will be favored in the majority of their non-conference games and starting off strong should help the young Oregon State roster build confidence and momentum leading up to the tough Pac-12 competition.

The Pac-12 schedule has not officially been released yet. We know they are starting and ending the Pac-12 slate with Oregon and have estimated dates for the other games, but Pac-12 fans will have to wait a little longer for the finished schedule.
