Oregon State has secured their 3rd commitment for coach Gary Andersen's 2017 recruiting class, and it will provide an infusion of speed.
Quantino Allen, a 3-star rated 5'9", 20 lb. receiver, has been timed at 4.40 in the 40.
With Victor Bolden graduating after this coming season, Allen fits into the succession plan as a slot receiver. At 200 lbs., he has surprising size on a 5'9" (the same height as Bolden) frame, and excellent speed as well, which are a good combination from the slot.
Allen is also a kick return threat, another similarity to Bolden, with his 4.4 speed, as seen in the lead play from his highlight video:
Allen is also another commit from Oregon State's growing recruiting presence in Florida, being from Belle Grade, FL, and the Glades Central Raiders.
