Oregon State vs. UTSA: Game Thread

The Beavers face a scrappy UTSA team Sunday afternoon.

NCAA Basketball: Oregon State at California Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State basketball team is set to take on the University of Texas at San Antonio at Gill Coliseum. The game is set to tip-off at 2 p.m. and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. It will also be broadcast live on the Beaver Sports Radio Network (listen online here).

The Roadrunners opened the season with a tough 69-66 road loss to Fresno State on Friday. The Beavers are coming off a 78-58 win against Prairie View A&M to start the season (1-0). Wayne Tinkle has started at least (3-0) since taking the head coaching job at Oregon State.

Get the full-scoop on the Roadrunners here. Oregon State will likely go with the same starting line-up of Ronnie Stacy, Stephen Thompson Jr, Tres Tinkle, Drew Eubanks and Cheikh N’Diaye. It’ll be interesting to see who comes off the bench first though. Last game JaQuori McLaughlin, Kendal Manuel and Matt Dahlen were the first ones to get the nod from Wayne Tinkle, but look for the staff to shake it up a bit, as they experiment with line-ups early on in the season.

Feel free to hang out and chat about the game as the Beavers try for win #2. Go Beavers!
