Last week, we took a look at the unprecedented unbeaten season the Oregon St. men's lacrosse team has enjoyed, and the good news is the Beavers notched 2 more wins last weekend in the PNCLL Playoffs.
Saturday saw Oregon St. down Idaho 19-8, and the Beavers followed that up with a 14-8 PNCLL Championship win over Simon Fraser on Sunday.
Oregon St. will now take their 12-0 record into the Men's Club Lacrosse Association National Championships, starting with a game at 7:15 PM Monday night against another familiar foe.
Oregon St. will face Cal-Poly on the UC-Irvine campus. The Beavers beat the Mustangs 10-5 in Corvallis back in March.
Cal-Poly (13-5, 5-1) was the regular season West Coast Lacrosse League champion, and ousted California 7-4 Saturday in the WCLL playoffs, but fell 11-10 to Stanford on Sunday.
The Cardinal will also be in action Monday at UC-Irvine, against BYU.
