Oregon St. Lacrosse Season Ends

Oregon St.'s club lacrosse team's story-book season, in which the Beavers were unbeaten in 12 games going into Monday night's MCLA playoffs against Cal-Poly, came to an end when the Mustangs pulled out an 8-5 win.

The victory in the first round playoff game at UC-Irvine avenged an earlier 10-5 loss Cal-Poly had suffered at Oregon St. during the regular season.

Oregon St.'s first ever undefeated regular season, and their PNCLL post season tournament championship, still represented a new high-water mark for the Beavers in the sport that's increasing in popularity and participation, especially across the west.
