#22 Oregon State looks to make their mothers proud with the final matchup of the weekend against the Utah Utes. The game was initially planned for a 1 pm first pitch but got bumped up for a Utah travel day and will start at 12:05 pm.
The Beavers have held the Utes scoreless so far with Andrew Moore pitching a shutout on Friday night 3-0 and Drew Rasmussen threw 8 1/3 innings of shutout work en route to a 2-0 win last night. Kyle Nobach and KJ Harrison brought home both runs with sacrifice flies for the few available RBIs.
Utah started the weekend only getting six runs in four games at Goss Stadium and that is now up to six runs in six games, which is actually astounding. In other stats Jeff Hendrix has picked up a hit in the last two games to now extend his hitting streak to twelve games.

Travis Eckert (5-0, 3.73) will start on the bump for the Beavers after throwing well last weekend. He was able to go 7 2/3 innings in that start against University of Washington only allowing 3 hit and no runs. It was a bounceback showing from a subpar outing versus USC before that, but the Texan has been consistent this year and should have the upper hand against Utah starter Jayson Rose (3-4, 4.14). Rose got the start last Sunday against USC for the Utes and struggled, giving up 11 hits, 5 runs, 3 walks, in 4 innings worth of work.
