Oregon St. Will Open Pac-12 Tournament Against Colorado

Washington St. beat Colorado 96-91 in overtime today, and as a result Oregon St. (17-13, 8-10) will be the 7th seed, and meet the Buffs, (14-16, 7-11 ) who wound up as the 10th seed in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournamentt Wednesday night at 6:10 PM in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.

The Beavers beat the Buffs 72-58 in the team's only meeting this season, on Feb. 21 at Gill Coliseum. It was the only win for Oregon St. in their 7 games. The winner will meet Oregon (23-8, 13-5) Thursday evening at 6:10 PM. Washington upset Utah this afternoon, which clinched the second seed in the tournament for the Ducks, who held the tie-breaker over the Utes.

The tournament will tip off at 12:10 PM Wednesday, with 8th seed California (17-14, 7-11) taking on 9th seed Washington St. (13-17, 7-11). The winner will meet tournament top seed Arizona (28-3, 16-2) at 12:10 Thursday.

Wednesday's second game will match 5th seed Arizona St. (17-14, 9-9) and 12th seed USC (11-19, 3-15) at 2:40 PM. The Sun Devils seized the 5th seed with a 74-70 win over California. The winner of the ASU-USC game will get tournament 4 seed UCLA (19-12, 11-7) Thursday at 2:40 PM.

Wednesday night will wrap up with 6 seed Stanford (18-12, 9-9) taking on Washington (16-14, 5-13) at 8:40 PM. The winner will meet 3-seed Utah (23-7, 13-5) Thursday night at 8:40 PM.

Thursday afternoon's winners will meet Friday at 6:10 PM, followed by Thursday evening's winners coming together at 8:45 PM.

The conference's automatic bid will go to the Conference Tournament champion, which will be at 8:05 PM Saturday night.

All games will be on the Pac-12 channels except the last game of the day Thursday and Friday, and Saturday night's championship game, all 3 of which will be on ESPN.
