Beavers and Bulldogs Battle Twice More

Oregon St. and Fresno St. couldn't settle things in 9 innings, or 10 solid Andrew Moore pitched innings either for that matter, Friday night, but KJ Harrison finally put the opener of the weekend 4 game series away with a lead-off, walk-off home run over the high left field wall at Goss Stadium for the 2-1 win. It was Oregon St. head coach Pat Casy's first win ever over Fresno St.

Today, the Beavers (10-3) and Bulldogs (7-6) square off again, and this time it will go for at least 18 innings, since they are playing a pair.

There will be no tv this weekend, but streaming video (no replays) will be provided.

Oregon St. will send freshman RHP Drew Rasmussen (1-0, 2.16 ERA) out for the first game, and junior RHP Travis Eckert (1-0, 3.00 ERA) in the nightcap.

Fresno St. will counter with junior LHP Dylan Lee (1-1, 8.10 ERA) in the opener, and close out with junior RHP Dominic Topoozian (0-1, 2.45 ERA).
