Building the Dam has confirmed with a source close to the situation that Hallice Cooke will transfer from Oregon State.
The news was first reported by CBS Sports on Monday afternoon.
Cooke had been considering a transfer for a couple months but was thought to be staying in Corvallis. Instead, he is leaving after one season, leaving head coach Craig Robinson without his top five leading scorers from the 2013-14 season. A desire for a better postseason destination could be one of the reasons he has decided to leave.
Smh I gotta know what that NCAA tourney feels like ASAP
There's nothing more important than the NCAA tourney
The move opens up a roster spot for a possible transfer, and former Maryland guard Nick Faust's name has come up as a possible replacement.
