Oregon State's next game, against the Washington State Cougars, will air on national TV at 7:30pm on Saturday, October 12th. It will be on either ESPNU or ESPN2, with the exact network to be determined after this upcoming weekend's games.
While it's possible either team could outperform their expectations and improve upon performance to date to contend for a division or conference title, it seems more likely this will be a battle for bowl positioning. If WSU can get a win this weekend at Cal, both teams will have 4 wins in the books, and a much rougher road ahead, meaning two more wins might be hard to find for the loser of this game.
After this weekend's bye, OSU should be as healthy as they've been since the start of training camp going into this game, and if Stanford (normally a rushing team) can light up the Cougs' secondary for 322 yards passing, it will be interesting to see what Mannion & Cooks can do.
And OSU is getting votes in the coaches' poll again. Hopefully, this game will end well for the Beavs, and get them a few more votes, and maybe some in the AP poll as well.
