Oregon St. is now in the top 4 in most of the baseball polls after taking 2 of 3 from Oregon at PK Park over the weekend.

Taking 2 of 3 games at Oregon this weekend has elevated Oregon St. to #4 in this week's Baseball America Top 25 poll. The Beavers moved past both North Carolina and North Carolina St., as the Tar Heels lost 2 of 3 to Virginia, dropping to #6 as a resut, and the Wolfpack suffered a loss to Florida St. before sweeping Duke.

Losing 2 of 3 to the Beavers didn't hurt Oregon all that much, as the Ducks dropped only from #10 to #11, after having taken 2 against West Coast Conference regular season Champion Gonzaga before embarking on the Civil War series.

Collegiate Baseball kept Oregon St. where they were at #4, and dropped Oregon only from #6 to #7.

The USA Today poll moved the Beavers up from #4 to #3, and lowered the Ducks from #6 to #8, and Perfect Game elevated Oregon St. from #7 to #6. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll continued to list Oregon St. at #3, where they were last week.

Vanderbilt remained a unanimous #1, despite losing 1 game in their series to Alabama, and LSU stayed #2 in all the polls, though the Tigers also took a loss, against Mississippi.

Florida St. jumped over UCLA, moving from #9 to #7, after beating NC St., and taking 2 of 3 from Clemson.

The Bruins remained at #8, after rebounding from a loss to Fullerton St. to sweep the "City Series" at USC.

Fullerton St. added a sweep of UC-Irvine to their win over UCLA to be the only team in last week's top 10 to have an unbeaten week, and moved up from #4 to #3 as a result.

Arizona St. slipped from #13 down to #19, after beating Texas Tech, but then losing 2 of 3 in their in-state rivalry series to visiting Arizona.

Mt. West Conference Champion New Mexico remained the only other ranked team from the west, and the Lobos moved up from #16 to #13 after sweeping at San Diego St.
