#6 Oregon St. (39-8, 18-4) at #25 Stanford (26-18, 11-11) / 2 PM / Sunken Diamond, Palo Alto, CA / KEJO 1240 AM & KPOJ 620 AM
Oregon St. goes for their 5th consecutive series win at Sunken Diamond, as well as their 7th of the Pac-12 season, today at Stanford, after coming from behind for a 7-3 win Friday night. A win today or tomorrow will result in the 3rd consecutive series win for Oregon St. over Stanford.
The Beavers will send freshman RHP Andrew Moore (9-1, 1.37) out to try to do the job, and the Cardinal will counter with sophomore LHP John Hochstatter (3-2, 3.83).
Moore threw his first collegiate complete game last Saturday in shutting out California 5-0. Moore was dominant, allowing the Bears only 2 hits, and 1 walk.
Hochstatter's last outing was last Sunday, and wasn't nearly as successful. Hochstatter didn't make it through the 8 run second inning Arizona St. hit Stanford with, on their way to an 11-8 win. Hochstatter gave up 6 hits, a walk, and 5 runs, and took the loss.
Oregon St. is sticking with the lineup that has been delivering of late, but are dropping Danny Hayes down a spot today:
