Oregon State's Brandin Cooks is the 2013 winner of the Biletnikoff Award given annually to the nation's best receiver.

Cooks was selected over other finalists Mike Evans of Texas A&M and Sammy Watkins of Clemson, and received the award tonight in the Home Depot 2013 College Football Awards Show.

Cookls led the nation in receiving yards, with 1,670, 139.2 yards per game, the highest average in the country, on 120 catches, second most in the country, 2 behind Fresno St.'s Devante Adams. 15 of the catches went for touchdowns, also second most in the country.

Cooks also ran the ball 28 times from his receiver position for 188 yards, and 2 additional touchdowns.

As Oregon St. head coach Mike Riley quickly pointed out (especially to potential receiver recruits), that's 2 in 9 years, with Cooks joining 2005 Biletnikoff winner Mike Haas.
