It's still dependent on both teams not being otherwise occupied, but the planned makeup date for the Oregon St.-Nicholls St. game originally set for Sept. 1 until local disruptions in Louisiana due to Hurricane Isaac forced the Colonels to call off their trip has been formalized as Dec. 1.
Broadcast time is set for 11:30 AM, with kickoff to follow shortly, with the Pac-12 Network carrying the game nationally. Putting together the tv logistics was a key part of it, as both head coaches had previously voiced that they wanted very much to make the game up.
Of course, it could be as late as the end of the Civil War game before its known if the Beavers will be available, or playing the night before in the Pac-12 Championship game.
The latest date Nicholls St.'s status could be determined is the weekend before the Civil War. Nov. 17 is the last day of the regular season for nearly all FCS teams, and the playoff brackets will be announced following that day's games.
Tickets for the original game are good for the makeup unless holders have already gotten a refund, or decide to exchange them for tickets to any other Oregon St. home game besides the Civil War, which is already sold out.
While the postponement has made for a strange start to the season, with only 1 game in the first 3 weeks, and only 1 home game before October, it sets up a strong end to the season, with the last 3 games, and 4 of the last 5, all at Reser after Halloween.
