This week's adjustments were all about downgrading those who demonstrated they weren't up to earlier expectations. It was hard to make many relative judgements about relative strengths of those who took care of business on a weekend where no one in the top 25 took on anyone else who was ranked.

I did join with many others who put UCLA and Arizona into the top 25. The Bruins played impressively in beating Nebraska 36-30, but I don't think the Huskers are a bad team by any stretch. And this was in the Rose Bowl. Arizona really reopened some by the time it ended sleepy eyes once the last game of the weekend finally ended. Anytime you score 59 points against a ranked at the time team, that opens eyes. It gives the Pac 5 ranked teams.
